The SEOPressor Plugin is a fantastic SEO tool to add to your SEO arsenal… it is a great search engine optimization Guideline so crucial SEO elements are not forgotten. BUT, it is unfortunate to tell you that there are many tasks that the SEO plug-in is not capable of doing.
The inspiration behind this article began with a phone call from a friend. He and I were talking about why he was not receiving much traffic considering that he was posting 3 to 4 times a week on his blog.
He was sharing his thoughts about how he would like to use our Blog Post, On Page Optimizing Services, but said that it wasn’t necessary because he has the SEO Pressor plugin for his On-Page Optimization. When I responded with an “Oh”, he asked me, “why, is there something I need to know about SEOPressor?”
I told him that there are many areas that are impossible for this SEO plug-in to cover… the main reason being that the plug-in is designed to work with the information that is specifically inside the ‘Edit Post’ box of your blog, which unfortunately misses many crucial areas that still need optimizing.

Let’s talk for a minute about the SEOPressor plugin capabilities! Once you type your chosen keyword phrase in the box below your article and save your draft, the SEO plugin will remind you if your chosen keyword phrase is missing from your h1, h2, h3 tags, your Alt tag, whether your keyword density is too low, etc. It also speaks of placing the nofollow attribute for outgoing links, plus emphasizing your keyword phrase with text modifiers.
SEO Pressor Plugin’s main emphasis speaks of finding the proper Keyword Density for your article, which calls for the repeating of the same keyword phrase within the heading tags (h1, h2 and the h3), ALT tag, first and last sentences of your content, etc.
Too many repetitions of your keyword phrase will earn you a penalty for keyword stuffing, classified as Over-Optimization.

Google and other search engines have progressed beyond simple keyword density percentages. What counts more today is the proper formatting and the positions of your keywords. Google is also judging indexing positions for word association, to include synonyms and the content contained.
Interpretation… the search engines today are keeping an eye out for the natural flow of articles written believing to be more human friendly.

If this is true and there are only 10 positions on the first page of Google, who’s on the second page?

Look at it this way… Google want’s to give relevant, high quality content for their search queries. Google’s mission is clear with its Google Panda Update (“this update is designed to reduce rankings for low-quality sites—sites which are low-value add for users”), so if you are questioning yourself to whether your content sounds natural and flows, read it out loud or have a friend read it and give you their feedback.
I say this… if it has the natural, readable flow to it, then go for it, but if it sounds robotic, then it would be in your best interest to make some changes.

Keeping in mind that rankings are achieved through a very complex combination of ranking factors by the algorithm that crawls your site… these are guidelines, but they will help you establish a standard for which you use keywords and keyword phrases.
It is also worth a second mention that having a greater variety of keyword phrases will remove the repetition of your main keyword phrase that can get your site blacklisted from the search engines for keyword stuffing or over optimization.
Plus, you can expand your keywords far and wide for ranking your site for 100’s if not 1000’s of keyword phrases over time… doing this will allow your site to expand its main keyword phrase in to an unlimited number of variations which can help you gain more traffic
